When you start out in candle making the list of equipment, additives, waxes, scents and colors can be quite overwhelming. In fact, for some people even knowing the difference between a votive and a taper can be confusing. When I started out, nobody I knew made candles. I searched for candle making books, but they always seemed too complicated and didn’t show me how to Make Candles with step-by-step instructions. Too often the books jumped from one idea or suggestion to another. There was no easy way for me to learn. All I wanted was an easy-to-follow, easy to understand book , that took me step-by-step from what equipment I would need up to how to melt, mix, and add all my ingredients. I wanted a book that I could keep as I became more experienced, one that I could turn to for tips, ideas and advice …relevant advice that would really help me to perfect my candles. But for all my searching I couldn’t find the easy to follow book I needed. It really would have made my introduction to this wonderful hobby so much more enjoyable if I could find a great easy to follow guide.
